A sound bath is never just one thing. It can be a gateway to mindfulness, a meditative journey, a tool for deep relaxation, or even a portal into altered states of consciousness. The beauty of sound healing is that no two people experience it the same way—and even for the same person, each session can feel completely different.
Echoes of the Self is a 5-week exploration of the many ways we can engage with sound. Each session will offer a new lens through which to experience a sound bath—whether by listening with deep focus, using sound as a tool for transformation, or surrendering completely to its vibrations. Through this journey, you’ll begin to notice how sound not only surrounds you but reflects back to you different aspects of yourself.
Each week, we’ll explore a different way of receiving and experiencing sound:
Week 4: Active Listening
How often do you really listen? This session is a practice in deep, active listening—attuning to the subtle textures, layers, and shifts in sound with full awareness. Instead of using sound to drift away, you’ll learn to engage with it fully, noticing how different frequencies affect your mind, body, and emotions.
In this session, we’ll practice the art of deep listening—not just to the sounds around us, but also to the messages within. By attuning to the nuances of the sound bath, you’ll learn to discern the subtle vibrations of your body, your mind, your fears, and your intuition. This active listening practice encourages you to not only hear but to feel the sound, and in turn, deepen your ability to listen to yourself. By creating space to fully receive what arises—without judgment—you’ll sharpen your intuitive awareness and foster a stronger connection to your inner guidance.
Perfect for: Those who want to enhance their ability to listen to both the world around them and their own inner wisdom, and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and presence.
